Description: Before a female butterfly dies, her most important task is to find a home for her offspring. An orange tip does this with utmost care, flying slowly and deliberately through meadows and forest glades as she searches for particular plants. She is drawn to the dainty flowers of plants belonging to the wild mustard family. She glues a single egg to the flowerhead and departs. The butterfly is made from the dried flowers of Phoenix tree, and the morning dews are glass marbles glued to the canvas.
